    After two box office monsters from Steven Spielberg, director Joe 'Honey I Shrunk The Kids' Johnston takes the reins for the third trip to the island where dinosaurs rule and visitors are... dinner. It's a breathless ride, with Sam Neill's archaeologist Alan Grant returning to help a divorced couple (William H Macy and Tea Leoni) find their son, who's gone missing near the abandoned tropical theme park. Moving faster than a velociraptor on roller skates, the adventure sees the hapless humans facing prehistoric perils at every turn. Ptera-fyingly good fun.

However, when Dana (Sigourney Weaver) begins to have ghost problems again, the boys brave arrest to come out of retirement and battle the beasts of the night. Good gags and zappy special effects capture the spirit of the original.

Pat takes time out to warble My Love Is Like A Red Red Rose.
