The second twist of the cult horror thumbscrew finds sadistic mastermind Jigsaw coming up with more inventive ways to kill off morally deficient lowlifes. Donnie Wahlberg plays the cop who thinks the case is closed when he arrests Jigsaw, only to discover eight more victims awaiting their grimly torturous fate in the maniac's house of horrors. Darren Lynn Bousman takes over the directing reins from original helmer James Wan (and would go on to direct chapters III and IV), but the grungy, low-budget, nastily effective spirit of the 2004 shocker survives... unlike most of the cast.
