Harington was born in Acton, Greater London, with his name originally coming from the 16th-century poet known as Christopher Marlowe. However, over time he has often preferred to be called kit rather than Christopher. Harington’s official debut as an actor came through a west end play in London called War Horse. This was during his time studying at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where he graduated in 2008. Harrington’s career has enabled him to expand his acting into different platforms, featuring in the popular computer game, Call of duty: Infinity warfare. Harington voiced the character, Salen Kotch, with developers even capturing Harington’s likeness.
