Steven Spielberg directs this remake of the classic romantic fantasy A Guy Named Joe with Richard Dreyfuss filling Spencer Tracy's hallowed shoes as a daredevil pilot who dies and goes to Heaven. However, guardian angel Audrey Hepburn (in her last role) sends him back to Earth to mend his grieving girlfriend Holly Hunter's heart... even if it means helping her to love another. John Goodman offers typically witty support as the flyer's best friend while Brad Johnson is the new guy in Holly's life. Sweet.
