From next season (2024/25), a new rights agreement between the EFL and Sky Sports comes into effect, which will make Sky Sports the home of the EFL.

The new five-year rights deal will see over 1,000 EFL fixtures broadcast live on Sky Sports via Sky and NOW each season. This is a record number of games for any club football agreement.

We’re excited for the ground-breaking partnership between the EFL and Sky Sports to begin, with fans set to have more action than ever before from across the Championship, League One, League Two, Carabao Cup and Bristol Street Motors Trophy. What you need to know

Where can I watch EFL from 2024/25?
Sky Sports will become the home of the EFL from the 2024/25 season, with fixtures broadcast live via Sky and NOW. As part of these changes, Sky Sports will effectively replace the EFL’s domestic video streaming option provided by iFollow and club streaming services.

Fans wanting to buy access to specific matches can do so via the NOW Sports Day Membership which gives customers 24-hour access to all 12 live Sky Sports channels.

Which EFL competitions will NOW show?
NOW Sports members can watch the Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet League One, Sky Bet League Two, Carabao Cup and Bristol Street Motors Trophy.

How many matches will NOW show each season?
Sky Sports will broadcast 1,059 EFL games per year. This includes:

  • 328 Sky Bet Championship matches 
  • 248 Sky Bet League One matches 
  • 248 Sky Bet League Two matches 
  • All 15 Play-Off matches 
  • All 93 Carabao Cup matches 
  • All 127 Bristol Street Motors Trophy matches 

All these fixtures will be available to NOW Sports members. 

How many matches will NOW show each week?
Under the new deal, 10 EFL matches will be shown each weekend (5x Championship, 5x League One and Two).  Beyond that, Sky Sports will also broadcast:

  • All opening and final day fixtures in the Sky Bet EFL
  • All midweek league fixtures
  • All bank holiday fixtures including Easter, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
  • All fixtures played in League One and Two during international breaks
  • All Play-Off, Carabao Cup and Bristol Street Motors Trophy fixtures

All these fixtures will be available to NOW Sports members.

How can I watch these games?
You’ll be able to watch the EFL action with either a NOW Sports Month Membership or a NOW Sports Day Membership. A Month Membership gives you access to every Sky Sports channel for a month. A Day Membership gives you access to every Sky Sports channel for 24 hours.
