About the series
Rick and Morty may be an animated series, but this is no kids’ show. Equal parts crude and hilarious, the series follows the various misadventures of eccentric scientist, Rick Sanchez, and his nervous grandson, Morty. Based out of Rick’s lab (in the family’s garage), the pair travel across the cosmos - battling aliens, accidentally turning themselves into pickles, and more. Created for Cartoon Network’s nighttime programming block, Adult Swim, and starting out as a short parody film of Back to the Future, Rick and Morty has gained a huge global audience and is now an iconic show in its own right.
