What's the difference between Entertainment and Entertainment & HBO Max Memberships?

Entertainment Membership: this brings you all the biggest returning hit series from HBO - such as the latest seasons of Euphoria and House of The Dragon - alongside unmissable Sky Originals and Exclusive US shows.  

Entertainment & HBO Max Membership: NOW includes HBO Max Basic with Ads. Watch every HBO Max series, from iconic hits like Game of Thrones to brand-new must-see, The Pitt, alongside unmissable Exclusive shows, like Heated Rivalry.

What devices can I use to watch NOW?

You can watch NOW on over 60 different devices, including selected smart TVs, smartphones, PC or Mac, plus PS4/PS5™, Xbox One & Xbox Series X/S consoles.

How do I get NOW on my device?

You'll need:
1. A NOW account, with one of the following:

• Cinema Month Membership
• Entertainment Month Membership
• Sports Day or Month Membership
• Hayu Month Membership

2. A minimum download speed of:

• Broadband - 2.5Mbps
• 3G or 4G - 180Kbps

What features are available on NOW?

Can I see subtitles on NOW?
Yes, you can get subtitles on selected devices on selected movies and shows, find out more here.

Can I download shows to watch offline?
You can download shows from our Cinema, Entertainment and Hayu Month Membership onto your iOS or Android device to watch offline. You can download on-demand content from your Sports Month Membership, but not live events.

Can I stop younger viewers from watching age-rated movies and shows?
Yes, you can with two new features: Profile PIN and Parental controls.

Profile PIN: Restrict others from accessing your NOW profile with a 4-digit PIN lock. And if you’ve got kids in the house, you can also use a profile PIN to stop younger viewers from watching content in an adult profile.

Parental controls: NOW’s new parental controls will allow you to restrict what each profile sees. As well as the profile PIN feature above, you’ll be able to set a profile-based maturity rating to prevent kids from watching anything they shouldn’t.

Can I stop others buying a NOW Membership using my saved card?
If you want friends or family to use your NOW account without being able to buy a membership or any other products using your saved card details, make sure your Payment PIN is turned on.

What are Boost and Ultra Boost?

Boost and Ultra Boost are add-ons that enhance your streaming experience, which you can upgrade to when you buy an Entertainment, Cinema or Sports Month Membership.

With Boost, you can stream ad-free* , in Full HD** (1080p), with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and on 2 devices at once. If you want to enhance your experience even further, the Ultra-Boost add-on allows you to stream ad-free*, in 4K Ultra HD** with Dolby Atmos surround sound and on 3 devices at once.

*Ad-free excludes live channels and trailers promoting NOW. Boost and Ultra Boost do not remove ads from live sports and channels. **Features available on selected content and devices only. You'll need a minimum internet speed of 12Mpbs to utilise Boost and 30Mpbs for Ultra Boost.
