Changing the administrator password for your hub can improve its security by making it harder for anyone to gain unauthorised access. Follow the steps below to change your password (they might differ slightly depending on the type of hub that you've got).

Step 1:

Connect your device, e.g. laptop or mobile, to the hub through Wi-Fi or an ethernet cable.

Step 2:

On your device, open a web browser, e.g. Google Chrome/Microsoft Edge/Apple Safari.

Step 3:

Type 192.168.0.1 in the URL/website bar.

Step 4:

Select the Maintenance tab. A sign-in box will pop up.

Step 5:

Enter these login details (they must be lower case):

• Username: admin
• Password: nowtv

Step 6:

Under the Maintenance tab, select Set Password:

• Confirm your old password (‘nowtv’)
• Enter a new password. Your new password must be 1–16 characters and can use letters, numbers and special characters. It’s case sensitive, so we recommend using both upper- and lower-case letters.

Step 7:

Select Apply at the bottom of the screen.

Step 8:

Enter your new details in the pop-up login box:

• Username: admin
• Password: Your new password.

Your hub admin password has now been changed.
