UK landline and mobile call rates

The charge for non-inclusive calls to UK landlines & mobiles will increase from 20p per minute to 22p per minute.

International calls on the Anytime Calls package 

For members with Anytime Calls, calls to the 22 international destinations that were discounted to 2p per minute will now be charged at the standard rates.

From 1 May 2021, the following changes will apply:

UK landline call rates

The charge for non-inclusive calls to UK landlines will increase from 16p per minute to 20p per minute.

UK mobile call rates

The charge for non-inclusive calls to UK mobiles made:

• During the daytime will increase from 19.35p per minute to 20p per minute.
• During the evening will increase from 18p per minute to 20p per minute.
• During the weekend will increase from 18p per minute to 20p per minute.

Connection charge

• Free, inclusive or unlimited calls (including those that commence within an uncharged period but end in a charged period)
• Fixed fee calls
• Calls charged by timed duration that start with a fixed fee
• Calls to service numbers (084, 087, 09 and 118 numbers)
• Calls to personal numbering chargeband pn7

UK mobile call rates

The charge for Pay As You Use calls and non-inclusive calls on other packages to UK mobiles made:

• During the evening will increase from 17p per minute to 18p per minute. 
• During the weekend will increase from 14.25p per minute to 18p per minute.

UK landline rates

The charge for non-inclusive calls to UK landlines will increase from 14.65p per minute to 15.5p per minute.

Service numbers and access charge

The access charge for calls to service numbers (starting 084, 087, 09 and 118) will increase from 13p per minute to 15p per minute.

Calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers

Free inclusive calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers for up to 60 minutes, will no longer be part of paid NOW Calls packages. We will no longer restrict usage for calls to these numbers. All calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers will be chargeable and subject to an access charge of 15p per minute, and the owning operators service charge will apply.

UK to EU mobile and landlines

Calls to EU landline and mobile numbers will be capped at 19p per minute. There will be no connection fee for these calls.

From 1 May 2018, the connection fee for non-inclusive calls increases from 19p to 22p, unless a separate connection fee or minimum fee is specified. Connection fees do not apply to:

• Free, inclusive or unlimited calls (including those that commence within an uncharged period but end in a charged period)

UK mobile call rates

From 1 May 2018, the charge for non-inclusive calls to UK mobiles made during the evening increases from 14.25p per minute to 17p per minute.

UK landline rates

From 1 May 2018, the charge for non-inclusive calls to UK landlines increases from 12.54p to 14.65p per minute

Calls to Isle of Man mobiles

From 1 May 2018, a new charge band for Isle of Man mobiles will be introduced at 55p per minute.

Access charge

From 1 May 2018, the access charge for service numbers increases from 11.5p per minute to 13p per minute.

Acceptable use policy for inclusive calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers

Inclusive calls to service numbers starting 0845 and 0870 will be limited to 150 calls or 1000 minutes per month, whichever is reached first. This is what we consider to be reasonable usage of your NOW Calls package for domestic purposes.

After this, calls to these numbers will be charged at our standard rates (13p per minute access charge plus service charge).

Important changes to NOW Calls effective from 1 April 2017:

UK calls of up to an hour to 01, 02, 03, 0845, 0870 and UK mobile numbers only will be affected (excludes Channel Islands, indirect access, dial up internet and 070 numbers). Acceptable Use Policy applies.
