One Halloween, rock star Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) and his fiancée are brutally murdered by the henchmen of crimelord Top Dollar (Michael Wincott), who traditionally use the night to indulge in wanton acts of violence and arson. Unluckily for them, a crow brings Draven's restless soul back from the dead, thus allowing him to wreak his revenge. Adapted from James O'Barr's cult comic strip, the filming of this dark action fantasy ended on a freakishly morbid note with Lee tragically losing his life in an accident with a stunt firearm.
