Director Cameron Crowe reworks Alejandro Amenabar's Spanish mindbender Open Your Eyes with Tom Cruise as the playboy publisher leading a seemingly charmed life. His most recent "friend" is Julie Gianni (Cameron Diaz), who cares for David more than he realises.
