Nestled among the picturesque hills of the Styrian Alps in Spielberg lies one of the fastest circuits in Formula 1: the Red Bull Ring. Home to the Austrian Grand Prix, this small but mighty course packs some serious action into its fiery 4.3 kilometres.

With 10 corners, average speeds of more than 200 kph, and lots of opportunities to overtake, the Red Bull Ring pulls precisely zero punches. Throw in the stunning view and you’ve got one of F1’s great drives.

But don’t be fooled by its full-throttle appearance. Tactics often reign supreme at the Red Bull Ring, thanks to Alpine weather that can change on a dime and over 60 metres of elevation gradient to grapple with. Technically demanding? Yes. Strategic? You bet. A lot of fun. Absolutely.
