I want to cancel a Cinema, Entertainment, hayu or Sports Month Membership
Step 1: Select My Account and then My Membership. You might need to enter your username and password. Step 2: Select Cancel next to the Membership you don’t want any more and follow the onscreen steps. Step 3: Once your Membership is cancelled, you’ll see the confirmation message below, and get a confirmation email within three hours.
You’ll be able to keep watching until the date your next payment is due.
I want to cancel a Sports Day Membership.
You can only cancel Sports Day Membership that have been bought in the last 14 days and not activated. To cancel a Sports Day Membership you’ll need to contact us, and speak to one of our advisors.
If you’re an Apple TV customer without a NOW account, you’ll need to go to Apple to cancel your Sports Membership
I want to cancel more than one Membership or account
If you have any other Membership on your account you’ll need to cancel each of them individually. If you have more than one NOW account, you’ll need to sign in to each account to cancel any Membership you no longer want to use.

Can I see subtitles on NOW?
Yes, you can get subtitles on selected devices on selected movies and shows, find out more here.
Can I save movies or shows to watch for later?
Yes – just select Add to My TV to add a show to your Watchlist, where you can find it to watch later.
Can I download shows to watch offline?
You can download shows from our Cinema, Entertainment and hayu Month Membership onto your iOS or Android device to watch offline. You can't currently download shows on the Sports Membership.
Can I stop younger viewers from watching age-rated movies and shows?
Yes, you can. Just turn on your Parental PIN and choose what age rating you want it to apply to.
Can I stop others buying a Membership using my saved card?
If you want friends or family to use your NOW account without being able to buy Passes or any other products using your saved card details, make sure your Payment PIN is turned on.

All you have to do is get in touch by phone or Live Chat and tell us the address you’re moving to.
We’ll let you know if your current broadband plan is available there. Or if you want to change your plan, we can sort that out too.
We’ll also tell you if you need an engineer to visit your new home to set up your broadband.
Keep in mind: We can only provide NOW Broadband plans that are supported by the telephone exchange at your new address. We’ll check this for you when arranging your move.
How do I switch to NOW broadband from my current provider?
Switching to NOW Broadband couldn’t be easier. Just choose your broadband and calls, we’ll let you know if you can get it in your area. We do all the heavy lifting by taking care of the switch from your current provider. So you can sit back and relax.
Do I need an engineer visit?
This depends on whether you have an existing phone line. If you don’t, we’ll book an engineer visit for you within a few weeks of your NOW broadband order. If you need an engineer visit to install a phone line, we’ll book one for you when you order NOW broadband. The waiting time depends on when an engineer’s available, but it’s usually within a couple of weeks. If you already have a phone line, there’s no need for an engineer visit. We’ll switch your broadband automatically. This will happen within two weeks of your order.

If you want to keep your current phone number, choose ‘Yes, keep my current number’ when you confirm your broadband order, and we’ll do our best to have it transferred over. If it’s not possible to keep your phone number, we’ll let you know. You can also forward your emails from your old broadband address to your new address, and transfer across your email contacts.
Please note: Emails can only be redirected from accounts that support POP access. Check with your current provider to find out if you can keep your existing email account.
There are two different types of broadband speed:
Speed of the connection to your Hub, also known as your access line speed. If you have Brilliant Broadband, this is the maximum speed between your local telephone exchange and your Hub. This speed depends on how far away you live from the exchange.
If you have Fibre Broadband, distance to the exchange isn’t important. However, the distance from your home to your local street cabinet (usually green) can affect your connection speed.
Speed on your devices:
Also known as your throughput speed. This will be lower than the speed into your Hub, as it’s affected by factors such as the layout of your home, whether you’re using a Wi-Fi connection and the number of devices connected to your network. You can find more information about the technical terms used when talking about broadband in our glossary of broadband speed terms.
Fluctuating broadband speeds in your first ten days:
To give you a reliable broadband connection from day one, we’ll make sure it has a good combination of speed and stability to start off with. We’ll then test and reconfigure your line to provide you with the best performance. This process can take up to ten days. During these first ten days you might notice some fluctuations in your speed, and your connection might be intermittent at times. This is normal. The important thing is to keep your NOW Hub Two switched on 24/7 during this time. We can then get the information we need about your line, and select the best settings for your connection.
If you sign up for our no contract option you can cancel anytime without any penalties.
From February 2020, we’re making the standard price of our broadband packages cheaper. We’re also making monthly bills simpler for NOW Broadband customers by including the cost of line rental in the broadband package payment.
