Supported devices for Boost and Ultra Boost
With Boost or Ultra Boost, you can enjoy sports, movies and shows with enhanced picture and sound quality, but not all devices support all the available features. Check below to see whether the devices on which you want to stream are compatible.
Keep in mind: Even if you don't have an HD- or UHD-capable device, if you've got Boost or Ultra Boost you'll still be able to enjoy ad-free streaming on multiple devices. Find out more about Boost and Ultra Boost benefits
Basic technical requirements for Boost and Ultra Boost
To enjoy full HD or 4K UHD HDR, Dolby Atmos or 5.1 and 50fps on Sky Sports channels, you'll need:
- An HD or 4K UHD TV that supports HLG, HDR10 or HDR10+, with an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2 (not all HDMI 2.0 ports support it)
- A minimum internet speed per individual streaming device of 12Mbps for Boost, or 30Mbps for Ultra Boost
- Dolby digital 5.1 or Dolby Atmos-enabled speaker system or sound bar
- A supported device.

PCs, Macs & mobile devices are not supported
PCs, Macs, smartphones and tablets (including Amazon Fire and Fire HD tablets) do not support the full HD, UHD or surround sound features of Boost or Ultra Boost.

Can I get full HD/UHD and Dolby sound on my mobile, tablet, PC or Mac?
No. The enhanced picture and audio benefits of Boost and Ultra Boost are only available on devices that specifically support these capabilities (see the device list above for more details).
But even if you can't benefit from full HD/ 4K UHD and Dolby Atmos or 5.1, you can still choose to upgrade to get the extra streaming allowance and enjoy ad-free viewing.
How do I switch on Dolby Atmos or Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound?
If you've got a soundbar or surround sound system, you'll just need to make sure your device is set up correctly to benefit from Dolby Atmos or 5.1 sound quality. Find out how to adjust your audio settings
