About the series

In Season 1 it’s 2023, and twenty years after a parasitic fungus turned most humans into violent zombie-like creatures known as the Infected, one tough survivor called Joel (Pedro Pascal) is tasked with a mission that could save what’s left of humanity – he must escort 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey) to the rebel Fireflies, on a journey fraught with danger.

Season 2 of The Last of Us picks up five years after the events of Season 1. Joel and Ellie’s collective past catches up to them, drawing them into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind.
