About this series
Beginning a few centuries before the events of beloved fantasy series Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon follows the chaotic and bloody history of House Targaryen’s rise to power and fall from grace. It wouldn’t be a George R. R. Martin franchise without a healthy dose of family fights, scheming politics, brutal betrayals, and of course, dragons.
As a war for succession to the Iron Throne threatens to tear this royal family apart, the limits of love and loyalty are tested to the extreme. Siblings and friends viciously vie for their rightful place in King’s Landing and will destroy anyone who gets in their way, even their own kin. And in typical Targaryen fashion, these feuds often end in fire.
