What’s Amadeus about?

You know Mozart? Yeah, it’s about him. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. How his debauchery, genius, and disharmonious rivalry with composer Antonio Salieri lead to the breakdown of his marriage, career, and ultimately, his death.

30 years after Mozart’s untimely death, a forgotten Salieri seeks redemption, and comes to Mozart’s wife with a murder confession. ‘Amadeus’ is a reimagining of the legendary feud between Mozart and Salieri; the coming of age of a musical genius, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and his subsequent demise at the hands of the madly jealous court composer.

From 21 December you can stream Amadeus on NOW with an Entertainment Membership.

Sky and NOW are the exclusive home of Amadeus in the Republic of Ireland. You will not be able to watch it on Netflix or rival streaming services.
