How to fix login problems

Reset your password

If you know the email address on your NOW account, resetting your password is often the quickest way to fix a login issue. If you don't receive the password reset email, remember to check your Junk or Spam folder.

Sign in with a one-time passcode

If you've forgotten your password but know the email address on your NOW account, you can sign in with a one-time passcode instead.

Step 1:

Select Sign in without password on the sign in page and we'll send a code to your registered email address.

Step 2:

Enter the code on the sign-in page within 10 minutes to access your account.

If you don't receive the email, remember to check your Junk or Spam folder.

Not sure what email address you signed up with?

Our Account Finder can help remind you which email address you used to sign up. Just enter your name and one of the following:

  • The last 4 digits of the payment card you think you signed up with
  • Your PayPal email address
  • A billing descriptor (on your card statement, after ‘NOW’, you’ll see a 5-character billing descriptor next to the item you have been charged for. For example: ‘NOW 3BY4F’).

Can’t sign in on a browser?

If you're only having trouble signing in on a web browser, your browser settings or stored data could be causing the problem. Here are some solutions:

  1. Clear your cache and cookies: Outdated or corrupted browser data can sometimes prevent you from signing in. You can usually find this option in your browser settings under Privacy or Clear browsing data
  2. Make sure your browser is up to date: Older browser versions don't always work as expected with modern websites. You can usually check and update this via your browser settings. If that doesn't work, check your browser is supported on NOW.
  3. Try a different browser: If you're still having trouble, try signing in using a different browser. For the best viewing experience, we recommend using Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox.
  4. Disable browser extensions or add-ons: Sometimes browser extensions or add-ons can interfere with the sign-in process. Try temporarily disabling them and logging in again.

Problems signing in on the NOW app?

Sometimes you may find that you’re unable to sign in on a specific device. Try these steps to fix the problem:

  1. Update the NOW app: Older app versions don't always work as expected. Check for updates in the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices) and install the latest version of the app.
  2. Restart the app: Close the app completely, reopen it and try signing in again.
  3. Restart your device: Restarting your device can help fix temporary issues that may be affecting sign-in.
  4. Reinstall the app: If you're still having trouble, delete the app from your device, then go to the App Store or Google Play Store and reinstall it.
  5. Check your internet connection: Sometimes network issues can prevent your login from working. Make sure your device has a stable internet connection.

Good to know: If you're trying to sign in on an Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S and the keyboard isn't appearing, try turning off High Contrast Mode in your Xbox settings. This option can usually be found under Ease of Access.
