NOW Members who had Entertainment when we introduced our new NOW Entertainment & HBO Max Membership at the end of March now get HBO Max Basic with Ads at no extra cost.
That means every HBO Max series—from iconic favourites like Game of Thrones to new award winners like The Pitt—now sits alongside unmissable Sky Originals and exclusive US shows, all together in your NOW app.
Do I need to do anything to get NOW Entertainment & HBO Max?
No, you don't. If you had an active Entertainment Membership on 26 March 2026, we’ve automatically updated your membership to NOW Entertainment & HBO Max. Your monthly payments will stay the same and your membership will roll on seamlessly, but with tons of extra shows to explore and enjoy.

What if I'm on an offer or Monthly Saver?
If you're on the Entertainment Membership monthly saver option, your payments will stay the same until the end of your minimum term. After that, you'll pay the regular monthly price of €11.99, unless you cancel. The only change you'll see is that your membership has been updated from Entertainment to Entertainment & HBO Max.
The same applies if you're on another type of plan, such as a NOW Entertainment and Cinema bundle—only your Entertainment Membership has been updated.
I've got Entertainment with Boost or Ultra Boost—will that be affected by the change to my membership?
No—you'll still be able to enjoy brilliant entertainment and HBO shows ad-free on up to 3 devices at the same time, when streaming in the NOW app. Selected shows and movies are available in full HD and UHD. For more details, see What are Boost and Ultra Boost?
