Managing your devices

When you sign in to NOW on a new device, it’ll automatically be added to your account and we&#39;ll send you an email to make sure it&#39;s you. You can keep track of the devices you&#39;re using in  My Account. Just head to the <a href="https://www.nowtv.com/ie/account/settings/devices" target="_blank" title="Devices">Devices</a> area to see them all listed, along with the date you last used each one. Can&#39;t see a device in My Account? Sign out of it and sign back in again and it will appear in the list.

<h2>How to sign out of all your devices </h2>
If you don&#39;t recognise a new sign-in, we recommend protecting your account by <a href="https://www.nowtv.com/ie/forgotten-password" title="Forgotten password" target="_blank">changing your password</a> and then selecting Sign out all on the <a href="https://www.nowtv.com/ie/account/settings/devices" target="_blank">Devices</a> page. You’ll need to enter your new password when you log back in on each device – so no one will be able to use your account without your consent. Keep in mind: The device you&#39;re using to sign out from will stay signed in, so you&#39;ll still see it in your device list.  
<h2>Watch on 1 device at a time – or up to 3 if you have Boost or Ultra Boost</h2>
If you&#39;ve got <a href="https://www.nowtv.com/ie/help/article/what-are-boost-and-ultra-boost-ie" target="_blank" style="font-size: 14px;">Boost or Ultra Boost</a>, you can stream on 2 or 3 devices at a time. Otherwise, it&#39;s just one.

Head to the Membership area of My Account to add <a href="https://www.nowtv.com/ie/help/article/what-are-boost-and-ultra-boost-ie" target="_blank">Boost or Ultra Boost</a> to your membership and stream on up to 3 devices at a time.   You’ll also enjoy higher picture and sound quality and ad-free streaming of on-demand movies, shows and sports.  <a href="https://www.nowtv.com/ie/account/membership" target="_blank">Go to Membership</a> 
<h2> Getting a &#39;too many streams&#39; error message?</h2>
If you&#39;re trying to watch on 2 devices at once, but you don&#39;t have Boost or Ultra Boost, you&#39;ll see an error message such as, &#39;You&#39;re trying to stream on too many devices at once&#39;. You&#39;ll either need to stop watching on the other device or upgrade to Boost or Ultra Boost. <a href="https://www.nowtv.com/ie/help/article/what-are-boost-and-ultra-boost-ie" target="_self" title="Boost and Ultra Boost">Find out more about Boost and Ultra Boost</a> If this doesn&#39;t apply to you, because you&#39;re only trying to watch on one device or because you&#39;ve got Boost or Ultra Boost, check out these possible causes and what you can do to fix the problem:

<summary>How can I remove a device?</summary>
You can&#39;t manually remove a specific device from your account, but if there’s a device in your list that you don’t recognise, you can secure your account by resetting your password and then selecting Sign out all. Next time anyone tries to watch on that device, they’ll then need to sign back in with your new password.

<summary>I have more than one of the same device – how can I tell which is which?</summary>
When you’ve got 2 or more of the same device in your house, such as 2 PCs or 2 iPhones, we recommend renaming one of them so you can tell which is which. Use the ‘Last signed in’ date to help you tell the difference between 2 devices with the same name. If necessary, sign out and in again on one of the 2 devices to update the ‘Last signed in’ date.
