When Vivie accidentally breaks Mel’s toy airplane, she's afraid to admit it. Barney creates magical knight and castle play to help Vivie feel brave enough to tell Mel the truth.

David can't agree on what to play, so the kids end up playing different games. Barney has a hard time keeping up with both games. Silly chaos ensues, and David is reminded that it's important to consider others' perspectives, too.

At lunch in the park, Mel's friends are unwilling to try a taste of her kimchi. Barney whips up a beach day with Baby Bop, where she doesn't want to do anything new. The kids realize the value of trying new things to show others you care.

David and Liam want to do something special for their mom for an early Mother's Day. Barney helps them discover how to be observant of what others need, and how caring for their baby sister so mom can truly relax is the best gift of all.
