When Gumball refuses to forward a scare email the curse becomes all too real. Gumball receives a scare-email from a freaky ghost and decides to ignore it despite Darwin's advice. He refuses to admit it but the curse starts to come true and his whole family gets dragged into another dimension. Gumball and Darwin with help from Carrie set out to save their family./Principal Brown gives Gumball and Darwin the ancient school hamster Chris Morris to look after for the weekend. However they accidentally leave it at school and take home a clump of Principal Brown's hair instead. Surprisingly they discover it makes an excellent pet! When they realize they have left the real Chris Morris at school they have to race to find him before their error is discovered.

Gumball Darwin and Carrie team up to convince their fellow students that the school is haunted. At Halloween show and tell the class isn’t buying Gumball’s story about Gargaroth The Devourer until Carrie fakes a terrifying haunting. The kids convince the school to hire them as ghost exterminators and take their payment in Halloween candy. But when it turns out Gargaroth is real suddenly Gumball is expected to be the town’s saviour.

Darwin likes a girl in his class so Gumball decides it’s time to play cupid.

Fed up with having to listen to Molly's long tedious anecdotes Gumball and Darwin try to teach her how to make them sound more exciting.

Everyone assumes Darwin and Carrie's relationship is doomed as they're so different. That is everyone except Darwin and Carrie. When Carrie's cool ghostly ex-boyfriend turns up Gumball decides to get Darwin to confront what's really going on.

It's Halloween in Elmore. As the kids go trick or treating we see what everyone in town is up to. The ghosts and ghouls are finding it increasingly difficult to scare children, and are only scaring part-time. Can Gumball and Darwin help them get their scare back?

Gumball finds Penny's laugh annoying but can't think of a way to tell her without offending her. When he discovers that Principal Brown has the same problem with Miss Simian's morning breath they decide to swap problems to save themselves from getting dumped.
