- Edmund Blackadder, a descendant of the Black Adder (and still played by Rowan Atkinson), serves as butler to the Prince of Wales in Regency England. Like his forebears, he is still trying to improve his lot in life, though he's mostly forced to rely on the largesse of his boss, whom he refers to as "Prince Fat-head."
