Chasing Glory: Road to Paris 2024, Breathing Space

It is eighteen months until Paris 2024, but planning is already underway for our six athletes. Dreams are shared and vulnerabilities exposed as the diversity and modernisation of the Games is explored.

Each of the six athletes need to perfect their preparation and hit peak performance in time for Paris - but they have to qualify first. For all of these potential Olympic athletes, it’s now or never in their quest to make Paris 2024.

With one year until Paris 2024, the athletes face their biggest test so far: the World Championships, where they’ll face the intensity, the races, and the rivals who will line up alongside them at the Olympic Games.

With the Olympic Games now less than one year away, it’s a final chance for the athletes to relax ahead of the big push to Paris. Each athlete has their own way of finding breathing space and reconnecting with themselves and their chosen discipline.

After a disappointing season, three of our athletes are trying their best to maximise their opportunities to participate in the upcoming Olympic Games, as this could be their best or even last chance for the ultimate Olympic glory.

As Paris 2024 approaches, our athletes face high expectations and pressure from fans, rivals, and even themselves. How will they transcend all of that in order to be fully prepared for the ultimate test?
