In the series premiere, meet Dina Eastwood, wife to actor Clint Eastwood, and their huge, extended and surprisingly down-to-earth family. Free-spirited, but overprotective Dina is taken aback when her 15-year-old daughter Morgan pleads with her for a belly button piercing--and she undergoes extremely painful measures to convince Morgan otherwise!

Francesca, who acts as muse for her photographer boyfriend Tyler Shield's crazy and sometimes dangerous photo shoots, flies with him to London for one of his gallery showings. But things take a turn for the worse when Tyler, who will do anything to get the best shot, puts Francesca in a position that has her fearing for her life. Meanwhile in California, Dina simultaneously juggles an Overtone member's wedding festivities along with Morgan's 15th birthday party at the same hotel.

When the house gets jam-packed with unopened gifts and old clutter, Francesca and Morgan try to convince Dina that she has a hoarding problem. Meanwhile, Dina and Francesca clash over money when she flaunts an expensive handbag that Tyler later plans to destroy for a photo shoot.

When Overtone books a gig in Hawaii, Dina plans a family vacation around the concert--and invites all of Morgan's friends to stay at the Eastwood's vacation home in Maui. But, she didn't count on Francesca bringing along her unpredictable photographer boyfriend Tyler Shields. When the lovebirds land on the island, it doesn't take long for Dina to pull Francesca aside for a little chat.

The Eastwoods' family vacation in Maui continues as Francesca and her boyfriend Tyler try to work out a sleeping arrangement that doesn't offend overprotective mom Dina. Then, things get ugly when Tyler tries to force his so-called medical expertise during an emergency, forcing Francesca to take sides. Will she choose her man over her family?

The fighting continues between Dina and Francesca's boyfriend Tyler following Maddie's unfortunate bloody nose incident. But it's Francesca who gets caught in the crossfire and helplessly waits for their argument to die down. Thankfully, Dina's brother steps in to help mediate and weed out all of the lies Tyler's been feeding the family. Meanwhile, Eduard falls into a deep depression and retreats from his band mates. When they eventually find him alone in his hotel room, they also discover blood everywhere.

Fifteen-year-old Morgan is growing up whether her mom likes it or not! So when Dina's babying gets super out of control, the family has a major crisis on their hands when a fed-up and hormonal Morgan starts to act out. Meanwhile, Dina converts Francesca's bedroom into an art studio, and even though she ok'd it she can't help feeling like the kicked out, forgotten stepdaughter.

As Francesca and Tyler's relationship matures and heads closer to the prospect of marriage, Francesca feels an intense urge to help mend Tyler's rocky relationship with his parents before she becomes a part of the family. She's able to convince him to visit his mom and dad in Florida, despite his reservations-- but soon finds out why he was so hesitant in the first place. Meanwhile, Dina arranges a meeting for Overtone with a music exec who may be interested in managing the band.

Dina's habit of publicly embarrassing fifteen-year-old Morgan leads to their biggest mother-daughter drama yet. Can Dina see the error of her ways and mend their relationship before it's too late? Plus, Francesca witnesses a surprisingly romantic gesture that gets her thinking about marriage with Tyler. But is she jumping the gun a bit too soon--and does he even feel the same way?

In the season finale, Tyler and Dina come to blows again-- but this time, because of Morgan. When Tyler asks to shoot pictures of Morgan to include in his upcoming gallery opening, Dina gives the okay on one condition. But when Francesca ignores her request and allows the photo shoot to move in a different direction, Dina drops a bombshell on Tyler. Meanwhile, Overtone goes car shopping for a vehicle that can fit the whole group--but they also have big news to share with Dina!
