Competitors move to a new survival zone patrolled by territorial hippos, upending the challenge. Teams must design and build a traditional raffia palm raft. An underdog shocks the competition while a crucial mistake puts a legend at risk of elimination.

A primitive weapons challenge to build and use atlatls leads to a shocking elimination matchup. Teams score huge protein wins, but one country's food struggles may lead medics to intervene. A driving rainstorm forces teams to improve their shelters.

The final four teams build four-pronged, fire-hardened spears to skewer fish. One team's spear -- and partnership -- breaks under pressure. Cold, driving rain collapses a shelter. In a frigid elimination challenge, teams battle hypothermia and each other.

The final three teams migrate to the shores of the Indian Ocean. Two teams score crab, stingray and octopus, but the third struggles to get food. During a smoke-and-snare challenge, unexpected stumbles lead to a shocking elimination challenge.
