Rod and JC battle extreme weather and steep terrain as they search for sapphires. Then, the duo undertakes a huge fishing expedition: hunting the mythical Tassie Tiger.

Rod and JC get a painful lesson while mining in the hot and hostile Andamooka. Then, they provide an urgently needed airdrop of supplies to flood-ravaged farmers.

Stuck in Andamooka with a broken-down vehicle and little money, Rod, and JC hit rock bottom. And, a final opal sale decides whether they can continue their road trip.

While in Queensland, Rod musters over 200 pregnant cows for cash. Plus, a financial bombshell from home forces JC to double his earnings goal for the trip.
