The Eastern Gate, Episode Five

In Kaliningrad, Polish agent Ewa Oginiec goes undercover to infiltrate a party hosted by influential Russian nuclear engineer Tamara Sorokina. But when the mission goes south, Ewa finds herself dealing with a life-changing personal crisis.

Posing as consul to the Polish embassy in Minsk, Ewa settles into life under the watchful eye of the KGB, while her handlers, unwilling to extend Russian forces access to the Suwałki Gap, struggle to secure Skiner's release.

Determined to find answers in the wake of her son's death, Tamara travels to Riga to investigate. Meanwhile, Ewa helps keep a key target safe from both Belarussian and Polish forces, and Lange gauges whether his agents are at risk.

After Polish forces abandon Skiner, Ewa receives a warning to finish her work … or face the same fate. Later, Ewa follows a hunch that brings her closer to finding the mole, Tamara continues her search and Lange fights to protect his remaining operatives.

As the threat of a dirty bomb looms, Lange travels to Minsk to debrief Ewa -- and share some regrettable news about her family. While Skiner vows to protect Kaj, Ewa uncovers intel about Skopincev that could change everything.

After a showdown between Polish soldiers and the border patrol sidelines Hałaj and his agents, Skiner fights to save Kaj. Ewa confronts Tamara, who warns of a plot to frame Poland for a deadly bombing orchestrated by Russian forces as a pretext for war.
