Cathy and Colin's house is broken into, and Cathy is horrified to find out what the burglars have left in her underwear drawer.

Beth's birthday meal with her family is ruined first by Christine inviting herself, then by Colin turning up drunk.

After a quiz night the neighbours decide to share their party pieces - which ends with Gordon needing a trip to A&E.

A new couple on the street are invited to Beth's to meet the neighbours and everyone warms to them except Cathy, whose competitive instincts get out of hand.
