Fit for a Killer, Episode 1

January 1999. A corset made from human skin is pulled from the Vistula River, launching an investigation into the identity of the victim and the killer behind the crime.

As a closed-door trial against Robert Janczewski begins, journalists question the controversial investigation process, lack of concrete evidence, and the prosecutors' potential biases.

While Janczewski continues to appeal his conviction, some grow suspicious of the man who named him as the killer. Later, in October 2024, Janczewski is acquitted, but questions surrounding the death of Katarzyna Zowada remain.
