Shawn's million-dollar Bluff claim is denied, leaving the grounds open to anyone. Kris Kelly leaps at the chance, dragging his family across 70 miles of frozen tundra.

Shawn and Kris face off when the Kelly family invades Shawn's turf. Emily hits the ice with a crew of veteran miners in a bid to reclaim her hotspot at Hasting's Creek.

Shawn gambles on a risky move. Kris suffers a life-threatening air-line freeze up, whilst Zeke attempts the most dangerous dive of his life through 20-ft of ice.

Sean continues his search for the boulder that marks the gold patch he found last summer. In need of a new plan, Emily asks Sean for permission to dredge the Bluff.

Kris' scheme to make a fortune on Shawn's Bluff find is sabotaged. Zeke may have found his mining future - until the ice breaks up and he has to move.

Shawn must fix his landlocked barge, but faulty controls threaten the Megadredge dream. And with limited dredging supplies, Emily gambles in the hope of a fast payoff.

Shawn tries to convince potential investors on his Megadredge vision. Kris frays Andy's nerves and Zeke releases a secret weapon, but faces a sudden challenge.

To fund the Megadredge, Shawn races to the Bluff with only a day left in the season. Kris hits the best gold of his life, but his shoddy gear lets him down.
