After Frank's van is found burned in the woods, local police arrest four individuals...including Maibrit. As Rikke grapples with this, Maibrit's tumultuous relationship with Frank is explored, as well as her connections to the other suspects.

Frank's family and friends recount the devastation of receiving official confirmation of his death – and the difficulty of breaking the news to his children. Meanwhile, police uncover three additional failed murder plots hatched by the suspects.
