Ronnie Barker is Fletcher, who proves you can't keep an old lag, or pig, down. He dreams up a novel way to relieve the boredom - and a few perks for himself, of course.

If you had to share a cell, Ronnie Barker would be fine company. Fletch and Godber try to get through a night banged up as they imagine what they'd be doing 'outside'.

A day on the moors digging drains for the council is bound to offer an opportunity for Fletch to take advantage - especially with Mr Barrowclough in charge. Classic laughs.

Criminally funny sitcom. Fletch falls out with the governor and loses all his credibility. But he hopes to get back into his good books via a cosy job in the library.

Only Ronnie Barker could make prison funny. When Fletcher assumes the role of agony aunt to his fellow inmates, he ends up writing letters home to their loved ones.
