The Curious Case of Natalia Grace, Victim or Villain?

The Barnetts' adoption of Natalia, an allegedly six-year-old Ukrainian Orphan, turns into a nightmare when they learn she may not be six or Ukrainian. With suspicions mounting, the Barnetts discover they may have an adult stranger in their home.

Now re-aged as an adult and living alone, Natalia wreaks havoc at her new apartment by sexually propositioning and stalking the residents. Meanwhile, the Barnett’s truly sinister side emerges as they face a social services investigation into Natalia.

The Barnetts, now divorced, abandon Natalia in an apartment in Lafayette, Indiana. With no food, a/c, electricity or phone, the police get involved. Despite Michael’s efforts to blame Kristine solely, his shocking confessions lead to their arrests.

As Michael's trial approaches, he shifts fault to Kristine, and catches a break when the judge throws out any discussion of Natalia's age during the trial.
