Show more- About this series
- `The Office' and `Extras' creator Ricky Gervais gets animated in this half-hour comedy series, which features the voices of Gervais, his longtime collaborator Stephen Merchant and their eccentric friend Karl Pilkington. The cartoon first appeared years ago as a radio show in London before it gained a massive audience when Gervais and Merchant turned it into a podcast, adding at that time Pilkington's offbeat contributions. Its HBO incarnation consists of the podcasts' audio coupled with the trio's animated likenesses, and story lines mainly revolve around the musings of Pilkington, whom Gervais affectionately terms `a bottomless well of stupidity'.
