Mainwaring and the air-raid warden dispute the matter of precedence as the platoon prepare for a parade to mark Spitfire Week. Mainwaring decides they need a mascot.

The platoon have to plant a bomb in a windmill occupied by another platoon. Jones though, gets caught up and carried aloft by the sails - don't panic!
