After losing his daughter in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, Dr Jim Swire begins a quest for truth, searching for who is responsible.

As Jim continues his campaign for justice, two suspects are indicted for the bombing and his focus shifts to bringing the men to trial.

After 12 long years, the Lockerbie trial begins. But as it unfolds, Jim begins questioning the official evidence against the suspects.

Jim grows closer to the wrong man, and as a result pulls further away from his family.

Jim is left at a loss when Megrahi gives up his appeal. Questioning everything he believes, he wonders if he will ever know the truth.
