When Paris Hilton starts searching her new best friend, she gets to choose from 16 boys and girls in Los Angeles.

Paris decides that the contestants must make sure they always look their best, so she offers up a closet full of clothes, shoes and accessories for them, but there is a catch - they must also share their own clothes with each other.

The contestants must try to look hot in their photoshoot in an amusement park; Paris takes four girls to Japan to attend the MTV Music Awards.

The heat among the contestants rises and their true colours are revealed when they have to pair up for a commercial shoot for a product of Paris Hilton.

The remaining eight ladies have a celebratory pool party; the contestants participate in a game of Seven Minutes in Heaven.

Before competing in a Folies Bergere, a classic Vegas stage show, the girls are taken to party in Las Vegas.

The remaining contestants are challenged to bring a hot man to the pool party at the mansion in Los Angeles.

The remaining contestants undergo a makeover which the girls give to each other in the house; the contestants visit Hollywood Boulevard with a portrait of Paris Hilton to have people donate money.

Paris Hilton attends Ryan Seacrest's radio show; the four remaining contestants choose their props and accessories for an upcoming elimination photoshoot.

Before taking the decision of the final elimination in Los Angeles, Paris Hilton spends one full day with each of the finalists in New York City.
