When Ed dates former beauty queen Penvelope, Steven starts seeing her friend, Clancy Moped. But their romance is jeopardised when the men are asked to judge a beauty contest.

Things begin to look up when Sacker is cast alongside Steven in a West End play, while Toast dates Varrity Map and has to deal with the 'even worse' twin brother of his nemesis.

When Steven begs Jane to get him in at the Globe Theatre, he is unimpressed with the director, and gets his fingers burnt as he tries to become an actor.
