What is NOW?
NOW is the easy way to get the movies, shows and sports you want, when you want. All you need to get started is an internet connection and a compatible device.
You can watch on loads of devices, including smart TVs and streaming devices, laptops, smartphones and games consoles.
How does it work?
To start watching NOW, just choose your membership and create a free NOW account to join.
There are 5 different types of membership: Entertainment, Entertainment & HBO Max, Cinema, Sports and Sports Extra.
Simply pick the combination that suits you, and change whenever you like, as often as you like.
Each membership gives you access to the latest on demand movies or shows, and live TV channels too.
Sign up with a minimum-term plan
We'll sometimes have a minimum-term plan available for our Entertainment, Entertainment & HBO Max, Cinema, Sports and Sports Extra Memberships, which allows you to sign up for a fixed period of several months at a lower monthly price.
This means that if you cancel your membership during your minimum term, your cancellation won’t take effect until your plan ends.

How much does NOW membership cost?
Entertainment / Entertainment & HBO Max Membership
- Entertainment Membership – €8.99 a month for critically acclaimed shows including Sky Originals, Sky Exclusives and returning HBO Max series.
- Entertainment & HBO Max Membership – €11.99 a month for everything you get with Entertainment Membership, plus every series from HBO Max.

Cinema Membership
€11.99 a month
Access to the full Sky Cinema movie range, with more of the latest blockbusters than anywhere else and hundreds of movies for every mood and moment.

Sports / Sports Extra Membership
Choose from 2 different membership types to get your fix of live sports:
- Sports Membership – €14.99 a day or €38.99 a month for all Sky Sports channels
- Sports Extra Membership – €14.99 a day or €33.99 a month for 6 more channels, including BT Sports and Premier Sports.

How do I join NOW?
Joining NOW is easy. Just follow the steps in the article below to become a NOW member.
Can I watch NOW in HD, UHD or with surround sound?
To stream in full HD, or up to 4K Ultra HD HDR for selected content and devices, you'll need to upgrade to Boost or Ultra Boost. It costs €5 a month for Boost or €8 for Ultra Boost, and for that you get:
- All Sky Sports channels in 1080p with Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound – plus, all Sky Sports channels stream at 50 frames per second (except on LG TV and Xbox One & Series X/S)
- Selected Sky Sports+ streams in full 1080p HD (where the video feed allows for higher stream quality. Dolby 5.1 surround sound not available)
- With Ultra Boost and a Sports Membership, 4 dedicated UHD channels (Sky Sports Main Event & Sky Sports F1, plus 2 ad-hoc channels, Sky Sports UHD 1 & 2) – or with Ultra Boost and Sports Extra Membership, the dedicated ad-hoc UHD channel TNT Sports Ultimate
- Extra devices, so up to 3 people in your household can watch at the same time
- Plus you can stream on-demand sports ad-free (as well as ad-free shows and movies if you've got Cinema or Entertainment Membership). Find out more
How do I get NOW Boost or Ultra Boost?
When you join NOW, you might see the option to add Boost or Ultra Boost when you choose your membership. Or you can upgrade later in the Membership area of My Account.
Keep in mind: You won’t be able to get Boost or Ultra Boost if you’ve only got a Sports Mobile Membership.

What devices can I use?
You can watch NOW on loads of devices, from your tablet or laptop to your PS4 or Xbox.
You can stream on 1 device at a time, unless you've got Boost or Ultra Boost which lets you stream on 2 or 3 devices at once.
