Bride & Prejudice: The Forbidden Weddings, A Happy Ending

Three couples, each carrying the burden of conflict with family members who oppose their relationship, prepare to reveal to them their plans to get married.

Our three pairs, interracial couple Marina & Donny, young lovers Courtney & Brad and gay couple Chris and Grant now have to confront the conflict head on and tell their respective disapproving parents the news of their upcoming wedding.

The relationship between Donny and Marina's mum Natalia is in tatters. Chris decides to keep the channels of communication open, and Brad's mum Sherrie isn't convinced by Courtney's charm offensive.

Garrad and Liz have an age gap of 16 years. Chris can't get his dad to come to the wedding. Brad's mum Sherrie wants her son to call it all off, and Donny and Marina tie the knot.

Charity and Phoebe are in a committed relationship and want it to be recognised by marrying in New Zealand. They call family and friends to announce the plans, but Charity's parents don't show up.

Angered by Courtney's intrusion into a lad's night out, Brad calls off the wedding. Chris and Grant arrive in Palm Springs, and Phoebe and Charity decide to send invitations to Charity's parents.

Charity and Phoebe prepare to leave for their wedding in New Zealand. Katerina says she won't be attending Liz and Garrad's wedding, and Chris holds out hope that his Dad will arrive in Palm Springs.

Kat arrives with minutes to spare, making Liz overwhelmingly happy. And after an emotional ceremony, Chris and Grant enjoy the party despite Chris' parents not being there.
