Captain Mainwaring calls a court of inquiry when the platoon's entire ammunition supply is used up on a passing aircraft during a night exercise.

Mainwaring and Wilson both end up holding an unexploded bomb in the bank for hours as the bomb disposal team flounder around for 'special tools'.
