Regular Show: Benson, Think Positive

Everyone at the park except Mordecai and Rigby receive appreciation plaques, as Benson remarks that the two only "slack off and mess up".

Enraged at Mordecai and Rigby's constant slacking, Benson orders the "Peeps" surveillance system to force them into working.

After Mordecai and Rigby cause one calamity too many at the park, Mr. Maellard blames Benson (believing that Benson, as park manager, must accept the blame for everything that happens). Maellard demotes Benson to work alongside Mordecai and Rigby, hiring a woman named Susan as the new manager.

Mordecai and Rigby are slacking off again, this time with a stick hockey table. Benson finds out and makes a deal with the two if they finish all their work, they can play stick hockey. However, Benson goes against his word and sells the stick hockey table to a thrift store, who sells it to a pawn shop. Mordecai and Rigby set out to retrieve the stick hockey table, and end up in a stick hockey tournament. Benson feels guilty about lying, so he goes over to the tournament, where he finds a beat-up Mordecai and Rigby. Benson comes out to face an old rival named Chong who had killed his friend (another gumball machine). It's up to Benson to avenge his friend and save Mordecai and Rigby from Chong.

Mordecai and Rigby are tired of Benson's new rules for the house, such as the one which does not allow them to play video games, so they try to find places to stay for the night but don't find any places, until they find a hobo who lives in a box filled with trash, which is the portal to a world where rules no longer exist.

Mordecai and Rigby are trying to help Benson fix a street light, but start fighting and Benson falls off the ladder and gets knocked unconscious. They put sunglasses on Benson attempt to take him home so they won't get in trouble for knocking him out, nearly getting busted by a persistent Muscle Man who wants to thank Benson for helping him with a date.

Benson treats the gang a lunch at a Chinese restaurant in honor of celebrating Benson's streak of good luck. Everyone enjoys their time, except for Rigby because of his bad luck. When the fortune cookies arrive, Benson is absent from the table and Rigby opens his cookie only to realize that it says "bad luck is coming your way".

Frustrated at the many times Benson has ruined Pops' fun by yelling at Mordecai and Rigby, Pops asks Benson to stop yelling at them ever again or he will be fired. The first time Benson yells, Pops warns him to stop. After doing so again, Pops writes Benson up and presents the demotion to his father. Pops then tells Benson that if he yells again, he'll be fired.

Mordecai and Rigby want to prove to Benson that they can be judges at the pie contest.

Benson wants to prove that he performed a famous drum solo.
