Season five begins with Kathy wondering if this is the year she gets off the D-List. After all, she is a two-time Emmy winner now. But a Grammy® nod for her new comedy album may just be the catalyst Kathy needs to finally get her on the A-List.

Kathy visits a wax museum and later lands a book deal.

Kathy and team Griffin travel to Palm Springs for the unveiling of her star on the Palm Springs Walk of Fame and in the hopes of gaining publicity, Kathy invites mentor Suzanne Somers.
