Master codebreaker Iris Nixon, once employed by charming entrepreneur Cameron Beck, is on the run in Sardinia - until her cover is blown.

With Sardinian police and corrupt agents from Rome closing in, Iris is forced to blackmail local cop Teo in a desperate bid for escape.

As Joy is captured, Iris seeks Teo's help. Iris and Joy enter uncharted territory, leading to a showdown with Cameron.

Iris is stripped of everything she's built. She escapes the island and contacts online conspiracy theorist Alfie, who arrives in Rome.

Iris uses her wits to puzzle herself out of a corner and enlist policewoman Nico. Joy meets the mysterious genius, Jensen Lind.

Iris concocts an audacious plan to rescue Joy, involving a dramatic reunion with Cameron. They are forced to flee with Alfie and Nico.
